It is a fact that on the island we enjoy a spectacular gastronomic offer: our traditions are fused with flavours from the rich cultures that populate our land.
And one of the favourites of residents and visitors alike is, without a doubt, the tapas.
So today it’s time to discover 6 restaurants where you can enjoy good tapas in Ibiza.
Oli in Puig de’n Valls/Port of Ibiza
These sister restaurants share the same spirit and great value for money for all budgets (and palates).
What can you ask for? Tapas, sandwiches, hamburgers, homemade desserts… Accompanied by cava sangria or cocktails.
The spectacular terrace of the Puig de’n Valls restaurant is perfect for enjoying with the family in a quieter area, while the restaurant in the port of Ibiza will take you back to the beginning of the 20th century.
But don’t worry: you’ll enjoy it all, whichever one you choose.
Sa Barda in Ca Na Negreta
Sa Barda is one of the emblematic old bars where during the day busy workers stop for lunch or dinner, and at night the locals come for a good meal and a better atmosphere.
And it is common knowledge that this type of place tends to have simple, tasty cuisine at a perfectly affordable price.
Here you’ll find Spanish and Ibicencan tapas prepared the same day, montaditos and an incredible lunch menu, all with generous portions.
Special mention to all the Sa Barda team, who have a special place in our hearts.
San Francisco in Las Salinas
What is most striking about this place is undoubtedly its location next to the ponds of Las Salinas, one of the most iconic sights of Ibiza and Formentera.
From its garden terrace you can enjoy a varied Mediterranean menu with views of this natural park and the small church of Sant Francesc de s’Estany.
This is the perfect place to enjoy some family time, or to bring friends who are visiting and want to enjoy the real Ibiza.
¿Te lo vas a perder?
Txintxo Pintxo in Ibiza
If you like simple places, Tinxto Pintxo is for you.
A varied menu of pintxo-style tapas, some classics such as patatas bravas, meatballs, Andalusian-style squid… And others more special such as sirloin steak with raspberry sauce and foie gras.
It’s the perfect place to go one evening with friends if you’re in the centre of Ibiza, have two beers and a good selection of tapas, and enjoy a good laugh.
From Mr. Vin we assure you that you won’t regret it.
Barlovento in Botafoc
If Txintxo Pintxo is the place for simple people, this is for lovers of good beer.
In the lively Marina Botafoc is Barlovento, recently modernised but without losing its essence or its title.
The menu is designed to be shared, with the sandwiches standing out above all, a real “must” for anyone who sets foot on the island and boasts of knowing it well.
Another interesting thing is that they have a take away service if you want to enjoy Barlovento at home or even on your boat.
Es Prat in Platja de’n Bossa
Es Prat is, without leaving room for discussion, the territory of residents and peninsulars.
Despite being in one of the most touristic areas of the island, it is situated on the outskirts of a typical Ibicencan house with beautiful gardens, making it easily accessible and enjoyable all year round. It also has a playground for the little ones to have a great time!
Elías and Verónica have been offering hearty tapas and delicious Ibicencan montaditos for more than 40 years, and have won the affection of countless people.
A real hidden gem.
